As founder of Delos Shipping, Brian D. Ladin leads the company’s Dallas, Texas, operations. A philanthropic individual, Brian D. Ladin supports many of the educational facilities he attended, one of which is The Kinkaid School.
A college preparatory school with students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, The Kinkaid School offers three divisions. The Houston institution’s lower school includes pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and grades one through four. The middle school features grades five through eight, and the upper school includes grades nine through 12. In all, the school has around 1,400 students.
Alumni of The Kinkaid School partake in numerous annual events, including two fundraisers. One of these is the Sporting Clays Benefit, which occurs next on April 1, 2016, at the Greater Houston Gun Club. In its 14th year, the benefit encourages alumni, friends, and relatives to register and shoot in the tournament. Attendees enjoy a lunch and games, followed by the tournament. Proceeds go toward a Teaching Internship Program, which offers a one-year training and mentoring experience for potential teachers and coaches.
